HMTCC-MA
A program for church members.
An ambitious two-part program called Haitian Ministry Theophile
Church In Christ Mutual Aid has been launched across the Theophile
organization. First of all, this is an aid fund set up for supporting the
families of the Christian community in cases of death and second, an
investment to better guarantee the future.
At a time when the economic situation of families break down, this program is timely and seems to please the many members who participated at the special meeting on Sunday, June 5.
A group of volunteers from Theophile church of Atlanta lead by
evangelist Alusma François focused on the need to provide the organi-
zation with a program that can generate hope for the future, given the
current conditions. Rev. Dr. Roland Joseph stated that all this is re-
corded in the sphere of the vision of Theophile whose primary purpose
is not to build a church, but to build a society. Fr Laurore Herard de-
scribes the movement as an economic and social preparation.
Here is below an excerpt of the document (in English) provided by
officials to Le Theophore newsletter to help a better understanding of
the program:

HMTCC-MA
Un programme pour les membres de l’église.
Un ambitieux programme à deux volets baptisé Haitian Ministry
Theophile Church In Christ-Mutual Aid vient d’être lancé à travers
What is HMTCCMA about?
*First: Aims at making a financial difference in the life of HMTCC
community members
* Bring financial assistance to the survivor(s) of a deceased member
by covering the cost equivalent of a first class funeral. This way
hmtccma takes away most of the worries of the affected family.
* Second: A percentage of the premium will go to investment fund
which will be given as cash value to the designated beneficiary of the
victim.
What HMTCCMA isn’t:
It is not a life insurance policy.
Insurance pays more to beneficiaries but deceased paid more monthly
while alive.
* Contributor would pay less at HMTCCMA/year
* Actual contributor does not benefit from premium.
* HMTCCMA would guarantee contributor to enjoy his money
* Delayed gratification result
* HMTCCMA offers instant gratification (Ecl 3:22)
* Insurance company would not cover the old and terminally ill cus-
tomers.
* Insurance company would not cover a family member who is not
living in the United States.

pockets
* Would not invest in our community, on the other hand
* HMTCCMA is non profit and 100% of are returns will be rein-
vested in our community for our own development in short and long
terms projects.
* Short term: pavilion for our senor citizens to prevent them from
going to nursing homes or living with their children which is often a
solitary life which ends with despair and unhappiness.
* HMTCCMA will provide better living conditions, medical care, and
conducive social environment for a dignify old age.
*Long term: credit Union where a large portion of the profit will go
back to you as return on investment. HMTCCMA is not a for profit
company.
Who are qualified to be HMTCCMA members?
*Everybody who is member of HMTCC is expected to join and any
family member who resides overseas for whom the HMTCC
member is deemed responsible to take care of the funerals providing
proper coverage was already secured.
Why is it crucial for every one to join HMTCCMA?
* We need close to 800 members to get started in order to provide
coverage immediately before someone dies without coverage

designated survivor
* coverage begins when premium is paid in full after HMTCCMA is
officially opened for business
